    That's a hard question to answer. I like Mystic myself but I may be biased! :)

    I also think Synchronet is an awesome peice of work, and MBSE and I've seen a couple of new startups that look interesting, MagickaBBS looks very interesting, FTN and wwivnet support. Enigma 1/2 is another I have seen
    lately but haven't had a chance to take a closer look at yet.

    I'd say go with Mystic if you're into menu based BBS systems. It's a great software package.
