• Issues polling and sending mail

From Chad Adams to ALL on Thu Feb 3 11:52:21 2022
I have the latest BBBS installed. I have two nodes setup. They do login and poll. But I do not see that they are actually transferring mail. I export the mail using bogus r - but no mail seems to transfer in bbbs 2 2 TCPIP interface.

Anyone willing to help me wrap my head around how BBBS transfers mail? Ive followed all the guides I can find and nothing.

    running debian 10/ latest BBBS

When BBBS is up and running you can press Alt-O to look at the outbound queue. Do you see the mail listed there.

I can give you a hand with BBBS if I can get an idea of what should be happening but isn't.

IRC could work. I haven't used IRC in ages, I'd have to figure it out again. ;)

Sorry I missed you. I was out getting some shopping done. Maybe we can catch up in IRC or email.

The speed of this area is pretty good, maybe here too..

Its pretty complicated - thats why I suggested offline from Fidonet. This can get pretty tricky. Im not sure its configured right, and then im not sure i am even attempting to pass mail correctly.
