    Sounds like maybe a ballast problem. May be time to change either that or
    the whole light assembly since the ballast may cost more than a whole new light.

    I have an old Marineland Eclipse System 3 for a 29 gallon hood
    When I plug in the light, there is a slight buzzing noise from the AC
    adapter.

    Is this normal?
