Kind of surprised my old echo is still around, tell you the truth. <g>

Now that I'm running again, I need to pull out my old registered copy of Allfix and start messing with files again, especially as there may be some Apogee files to upload. :)

Can it be explained? It's just one of those inside jokes Steve and I have - it was originally a thing at work, but it's been expanded beyond a company joke to something wider.

I don't think anyone else except us two would find it funny, anyway.

Imagine that: I've got an Apogee story you've never heard. :-) ISTR the guy was nasty with Pat Miller, thinking her to be one of the office geishas who had
to make him coffee, not realizing who she was (and where HE was). May have been George's ma, too.

Remember how Scarff laughed when a dealer from "Fukyu" wrote? :-) Man, he used
to come out of his office with this grin on his face, wanting to share the latest hilarity with the tech room. I remember one time, too, I got a pretty nasty letter from someone who cried about how we did such a lousy support job for that Doom game he bought from us. Dennis grabbed the letter from me and sent his own response, doing everything but calling the guy a "dummy" (and you know how diplomatic Dennis could be).

Ignore him, Steve. Bryan is brain dead from working so close to Rimmer for so long. DF is still just as insane. I'm sure Bryan will say "How do you know, you don't answer the phones".

Hey joe! Nice to see a legend.. ;-) Is software creations still up? I tried dialing the number that was posted on my duke nukem 3d cd and the number keeps coming up busy. Even better, does software creations have a TelNet Address? That would be much better then dialing long distance.

SWC disappeared off the face of the earth several years ago. Took us by surprise. For the last 18 months or so they existed, they ran a web site and telnet stuff, but one night, they just up and pulled the plug on the whole operation.

We run our own web site at http://www.3drealms.com
