So I currently own an Icom ID-31 D-Star HT and a Yaesu FT2DR C4FM HT. I'm thinking of getting a DMR radio at some point after the New Year. I was curious, who else is trying digital out? There are a few Fusion repeaters in
my area, but only 1 D-Star.

Plus, the Fusion repeaters don't seem to have WIRES-X nodes going. Curious on experiences with that as well.

    I have an Icom ID-51A, a Yaesu FT1D, and a Tytera MD-380, so I have full access
to all three types of digital communication. I also have a DV4Mini hotspot, and a DVMega hotspot, plus full access to local D-Star and Fusion repeaters.

    With the DV4Mini hotspot, I don't need Wires-X to use fusion world-wide

    Hi Rich!

I only have a Tytera MD-380 DMR HT.
With the great experimental FW from Travis Goospeed. https://github.com/travisgoodspeed/md380tools

    Works very nicely ...
I would have D-Star and Fusion repeaters available, but I am not willing to shell out the money for the HTs ... from my viewpoint they are very overprized.

I am thinking of getting a new DV4-Mini with the vocoder chip onboard.
