    and I heard the whip rattling against the roof, but the top ball is
    still round, hi.

    Once in a while is OK, abut when you do it at least twice daily, it tends to wear down <G>

    Yes, I can admit that my 'visits' to UG garages were only occasional.

    Finally had this happen to us... :-) The antenna didn't rub the
    ceiling or the pipes, but it DID run a couple of the "clearance
    6' whatever" signs last night and this morning. :-)
