If you are using CHRIP I'd advise you to *#:STOP*#: before it's too
late. You may get away with it a few times but eventually it WILL
catch up to you.

Good thing I didn't use that to program the Baofeng UV-5R that I won
at the Shreveport Hamfest last year. Right now, all I use it for is to monitor the local Skywarn Nets.

UV-5R programming is save.
Daryl had problems with Yaesu.
I programmed my UV-5r, BF-F8+ and UV-B5 many times with Chirp.

They were down to 22 USD on amazon.
Now they cost slightly under 30 USD.
