Colleague is building a PCB with it.
(Including a 72 MHz MCU, an ESP8266 WiFi module, and GPS and OLED capabilities)

In the meantime I got myself this demoboard: https://odroid.ricsi.priv.at/sunrise.jpg

    Yepp ... it is ;)
He has already the first PCB made.
And it seems only one additional wire was needed (bug in his layout).

But the MCU is very, very dumb at the moment.
So much SW needs to be written ...

Not a bad first effort. :)

Usually the case until there's software! :)

Have to check it out (again). :) Maybe when I'm on the road and accessing the BBS via NNTP (where I can click on links easily).

At the moment he wrote a very minimal base system.
Similar to AT commands. (at the moment freq and volume)

Interesting thing to see is if he develops GPS/APRS functionality, before he gets bored with it ;)))

    We will see ...

Cool, that's a good way to do it.

Who knows. :). I was looking at building a mini IRLP node, perhaps with
cross band repeat. I was looking at adding a local frequency or two and possibly cross band repeat.
