CAMS version 3.05 is a language and computer
program capable of generating machine control
data for numerically controlled machine tools.
It accepts a sequence of statements in the
language ("part program") which define the
dimensions and shape of a workpiece and
describe the movement of a cutting tool. A
cutter location (CL) file is calculated for
use by other programs ("postprocessors") to
generate instructions for a NC machine.
