• More errors

From Stephen Atkins@1:342/13 to All on Mon Dec 28 20:24:50 2015
Hello everyone. I noticed that I'm getting an error every night at midnight. It seems to be cause the the "mbout stat" command run in my cron. I've been getting a few of these buffer overflow errors ever since I upgraded to 1.0.6. Any help would be great. I'm having trouble pasting from my other window to putty so I'll have to post the actuall error later.

BTW the only way I fixed my mbindex buffer overflow was to remove that nodelist. Since that network isn't really busy it's not a problem for now but I will want to find a fix some time.

    Stephen

I would suspect that when you compiled the mbse system the compiler produced some errors or serious warnings.

Suggest you look at the compile output or if lost rerun.

For example I always run ./configure (i did have some params here); make > build.log 2>build.err

check output from build.err before looking at the end (or near it) in build.log
to ensure that it compiled all without any problems (not all errors appear in .err.

If you still have issues then please specify:

Distro and exact version / platform.
    Version of the compiler.

What versions of the required extra packages that are needed by mbse are installed.
