                        Post-A-Note v2.0

Readers of the New Sysops article will recognize this program
as being one of my Top Ten for New Sysops. Well, Its a program for
more than just the new sysop, its one for all of us.

Many times, you, or your users may wish to ensure that someone
gets an important message. It could be anything from a birthday greeting
to letting them know its their turn in a BBS Door. Post-A-Note is the
 program for doing this.

Post-A-Note is much like the old Send Note by Randy Hunt (and
how many of you remember ole Randy, TriBBS reg #2) Anyway, it allows
you to send a note to up to 20 users (or to all if your the sysop) This
message may be up to 15 lines long, with 70 Characters long. This message
will be displayed to the user(s) when they log on, much like a normal
 logon screen.

The jewel in Post-A-Note is that it has its own user indexing,
which allows you to type in partial names to find the user you are
looking for (works for real or alias names, depending on how you
set it up) This indexing program must be run once when you set it up,
and then again every night during your nightly maintenance. This is to
ensure that your index is always as up to date as it can be. I would
imagine you could run it in your between bats if you like. This would
make it even more up to date, but this is your choice.

Post-A-Note is written by Mr TriBBS Himself, Gary Price, and
has a registration cost of $10. As I've said before, this is a must
have for any sysop, so I highly suggest you take a look at it today.
