Many things have changed since the last edition of the TriBBS
E-Zine. Some of you who read this may not yet know that Mark Goodwin
has sold TriBBS, and its related utilities, to Gary Price of Freejack's
 Software.

Gary has been an active programmer, creating 3rd party programs
for TriBBS since 1992. Gary's programing language of choice is PowerBasic
v3.2 which is a collection of the best of Basic, Turbo pascal, and "C"
with some assembly as well. His current plans will be to complete a new
API written in PowerBasic v3.2 which is really the heart and sole of
TriBBS. Once this is complete, then Gary can start the rewrites of
TriBBS and it's companion programs into PowerBasic v3.2

TriBBS is experiencing a new beginning. Gary has been able to bring
together old and new sysops, and bring the support back up to a level not
seen in years. TriBBS v11 has been released, which is really just an
administrative release. TriBBS 11, and its related utilities show the
new ownership information, as well as corrected contact information for
 Gary.

The new support information is as follows:

  BBS : Freejack's Place
  BBS Phone : 205-739-7121 (USR Courier v.Everything)
  Internet : gwprice@worldnet.att.net
  FidoNet : 1:3607/26
  Networks : WME's TriBBS Tips, Fidonet's TRIBBS, and UseNet's
                  alt.bbs.tribbs
  Web Page : http://www.tribbs.com

For new releases of TriBBS, or TriBBS related 3rd party Utilities,
you can contact Gary to be added to his Internet Mailing List, or join
the TRIBBS FDN on FIDO. (see related article on the TriBBS Filebone)

TriBBS is once again on the upswing. Gary has dedicated not only
his money, but his time in making TriBBS the best it can be. The future
looks good, but we must not rush him. Gary has allot of things he has to
learn, and allot of ideas he wishes to "play" with. TriBBS will surly
improve, we just must have patience and give Gary, and our Third Party
programers a chance to get it all going again.
