It seems that 1997 is the start of a new era for TriBBS. Along with
the Support Echos becoming more available, TriBBS is once again back on the
Filebone. Andy Knifel has done some great work to get this set up and going
again. Below is some information provided by him to help you get your files
onto the TriBBS FDN and to join it to get the latest TriBBS Files

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

TriBBS FDN is sponsored by Andy Knifel and The Small Talk Band BBS. These file
echoes will be found in Filebone.na or no files... They should be ready for
distribution in a few more days. Larry James tells me they just have to move
to filebone.na file. My host, Southern Star BBS has them setup in their
echolist. PaOnLine, Planet Connect and others should follow.

TriBBS File Distribution Network was setup with the permission of Gary Price.
Gary is owner and opertor of Freejack's Software. www.tribbs.com Home of
TriBBS. It is also setup with the help and support of Dr. Bob Seaborn
<TriBBS>, Paul Lopez <Tri_SYSOP> and Steve Sears <Strawberry Fields BBS>.

Here is a listing of the four echoes we have:

TriBBS : Freejack's Software and TriBBS programs.
 TriBETA : TriBBS beta programs.
TriSYSOP : TriBBS 3rd party utils and programs.
TriEZine : TriBBS electronic magazine by Steve Sears.

I will start hatching in those echoes as soon as it is available. I will
be hatching a generic note the first couple of days. I want to see if
everyone is hooked in.If you would like to directly tag into my bbs and
ALLFix. Please send me a netMail or E-Mail with the following info:

1} Your name as it appears in the Nodelist.
 2} Your Fidonet node\point number.
3} A password unique to your bbs.
4} The file ares you would like to tag into.

These files and .Tics will still go thru ftp.sstar.com. But John's system
will hatch them to your hub......

Please feel free to E-Mail me. You can respond here or in these echoes.
The fastest way to get me is FidoNet NetMail or E-Mail. I'll include all
 info below.

 THIRD PARTY PROGRMERS:
I believe Gary Price is still looking for people who program in Power Basic.
For more info contact Gary Price at his FidoNet node or on the internet.
The best way to get him is gwprice@worldnet.att.net You can also
send him a message in TriBBS or alt.bbs.tribbs .

Any utilities you want hatched in these echoes can be done one of a few ways.
 Here is my recommendations:

1} CrashMail The Small Talk Band BBS directly: 1:107/451.0 We accept NetMail
24 hours per day. Files can be sent between 6:01am and 5:00am. We respect
FidoNet Zone Mail Hour. This time is based on Eastern Standard Time.

2} World Wide Web. You can do a file attach in ZIP format thru
ajk@lonekeep.com This can be done anytime convienient to you. Please
include TriSYSOP in the subject line. I also need a File_ID.DIZ in the
message or attached. This will be used for announcement purposes.

3} Contact Gary Price directly. Gary tells me the best way to contact him
is his E-Mail. You can send file attaches and any info to
 gwprice@worldnet.att.net .

4} Cantact Paul Lopez: Paul moderates the Tri_SYSOP echo. This echo is
TriBBS general chat. He emphasizes Third Party programming and developement
for TriSYSOP distribution. We will also ACCEPT BBS doors. But they must
support a TriBBS.SYS drop file. Contact Gary Price on format.

5} Lastly you can contact us thru our web sites.

    Mine is www.smalltalkband.com

    Gary Price is www.tribbs.com

    Paul Lopez is www.bcpl.lib.md.us/~plopez

If you would like to have your web page added to my link page. Contact me
at the addresses I mentioned. The qualificationts are simple. TriBBS must
be the main topic of interest. 3RdParty programmers must off TriBBS utilites
as well as what they already offer. These will be verified.

I apreciate all intrest in our new file distribution system. I started this
with Gary's permission. I was able to offer it thru my IHub. I as well as
other missed the files that thank you to the TriBBS comunity and the
sysops that helped me when I was new.....

 Sincerly
