Information on how to set up your TBCPUSER.DAT file for TBCanPage.

If you don't want a user or security level to be able to page
ANYTIME of the day, then set them up as USERNAME=00-00 (where USERNAME
equals the name of the user, not the alias, that appears in the TriBBS
User records).

For example:

Joe Blow=00-00
Troy Masters=00-00
Dan Smith=00-00
Marc White=00-00
Geoffrey Jones=00-00
Perry Waters=00-00
Kevin Johnson=00-00

If the user name (as it appears in the TriBBS User files) is in the
TBCPUSER.DAT file with an "=00-00" after it like above, then those
users will never be able to page.

If you want certain users or security levels to ALWAYS be able to page
no matter when, then enter their names or their levels in like manner
only follow them with a "=00-23". This will always turn the page bell
on for that user or that security level.

For Example:

Nick Jones=00-23
Robert Smith=00-23
Sparky=00-23
Sondance=00-23
Kysanthera Nivhwvs=00-23
Virtual.persona=00-23
Rebecca Mcclanahan=00-23
David Swoboda=00-23
Frank Brooks=00-23

For security levels, you would enter them in the same manner, like
in the example below:

LEVEL=5,00-00
LEVEL=8,00-23
LEVEL=9,00-00
LEVEL=10,00-00
LEVEL=11,00-00
LEVEL=12,00-00
LEVEL=13,00-00
LEVEL=15,00-00
LEVEL=20,16-20
LEVEL=25,14-21
LEVEL=30,12-22
LEVEL=35,11-23
LEVEL=36,10-23
LEVEL=40,10-01
LEVEL=45,09-02
LEVEL=46,10-23
LEVEL=50,08-03
LEVEL=99,00-00
LEVEL=100,00-23
LEVEL=250,00-23

Just be sure to put any of your security levels and their page times
at the beginning of the file, before any user specific lines.
In the above example, Level 5 and 9 through 15 can NEVER page. Whereas
levels 100 and 250 can ALWAYS page..

So a typical TBCPUSER.DAT file would look like this:

LEVEL=5,00-00
LEVEL=8,00-23
LEVEL=9,00-00
LEVEL=10,00-00
LEVEL=11,00-00
LEVEL=12,00-00
LEVEL=13,00-00
LEVEL=15,00-00
LEVEL=20,16-20
LEVEL=25,14-21
LEVEL=30,12-22
LEVEL=35,11-23
LEVEL=36,10-23
LEVEL=40,10-01
LEVEL=45,09-02
LEVEL=46,10-23
LEVEL=50,08-03
LEVEL=99,00-00
LEVEL=100,00-23
LEVEL=250,00-23
Bob Dunnell=00-23
Christy Weber=00-23
Nick Gilham=00-23
Robert Weiter=00-23
Sparky The Wonder Ferret=00-23
Sondance=00-23
Kysanthera Nivhwvs=00-23
Virtual.persona=00-23
Rebecca Mcclanahan=00-23
David Swoboda=00-23
Frank Brooks=00-23
Jane Smith=00-00
John White=00-00
Joe Wilson=00-00
Mark Jackson=00-00
Chris Long=00-00
Bill James=00-00
Don Short=00-00
Andy Silver=00-00
Walter Henry=00-00
John Boston=00-00
Matt McCloud=00-00
Kevin Jensen=00-00

If you don't want people to bypass this program by doing a FASTLOGIN
and thus getting the page status of whoever the LAST user to toggle
it was.. you can either A> disable fast logins for the average person
or B> run a page toggler utility in your BETWEEN.BAT and always set
the bell for each node to OFF when each caller leaves. That way, at
least fastlogin users are always CHAT OFF until they execute a BBS
Door program and come back, then TriBBS will read the data file for
them and set the page bell according to the .DAT file.
