    WWIV is a BBS from way back in the early days of BBSing and fidonet.

    In the beginning WWIV never supported FTN, it had (and still does) it's own wwivnet and there were a number of very successful networks that ran on wwivnet teck.

    Today WWIV supports both styles of network, wwivnet and FTN.

    Development goes in spurts but it is still active today. More info and docs/downloads at..

    You can visit wwivbbs.org to download a recent version. Its for linux, win32 and there is even an os/2 port!

    and if ruslan knows how to code, he can help partake in development. Maybe there could be codefile support to support Russian better. Who knows what could be added :)

    Yes sure, i can help for support russian. But know only Perl language and now
    i study C++ :)
