I had intended to wait until December to try Win 10 but I relented and installed it on a Del Laptop running Win 7 Professional 64 bit.
I have mixed feelings. First it took almost Three Hours to install and
it is VERY slow i nbooting up in fact almost takes THREE times longer
to cold boot. And even a reboot taeks more then TWICE as long as Win 7
... I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the
facts.

I've found the complete opposite here. The boot times are drasticly faster. I was having an issue with it shutting down my virtual servers and corrupting them, but I /think/ i have that under control.

Most of the time when booting into Windows 10 I get a black screen
until I pull up task manager and restart explorer.exe. I hate
upgrades. Hopefully I can do a fresh install with the W10 DVD I
downloaded.
I don't know about Windows 10, but I've found the boot time in Windows 7 DS>faster than XP. For now, I'm going to stay with Windows 7.
