What BBS system? Does Windows 10 have any support for 16-bit DOS based programs? Does it have ability to run XP in a virtual window?

Windows 10 will be fine! I've been using it with old/new programs
32/64 bit with no problems. Windows 10 is very stable. I've noticed
little glitches in Windows 7 eliminated in Windows 10.

What BBS software will you be hosting? What is the telnet address to
    your BBS?

I a 'free' upgrade to Windows 10. So far, I do like it better. It corrected a
problem with wifi interfaces on the laptop. Does irritate me it required an upgrade.

    Take care,

I think MS did that becasue they do not intend to issue another Windows
Version but make Win 10 a very long release version with manditory
upgrads as features are improved so everyone would be on the same page.

    Windows 7 32-bit Professional does. I don't know about Windows 10.
However, for the Virtual Window for XP mode, you have to set it up for
such in the BIOS...if you have the hardware that can support it.

I got a good deal on Windows 7 32-bit from Amazon last week, and it
arrived today. However, I'm waiting for a break in the weather
(thunderstorms forecast here through at least Friday), so I can do a
full data backup before installing the new OS...then restoring all the
    data.
