Here are two URL's about this.

I had to split the first URL in 3 sections.

There is a Link on this Kidde page about the Recall.

I called the Toll Free telephone number and told the person the
Model Number, Serial Number and Date Code of each of my two
    Kidde Fire Extinguishers.

They sent me replacement Fire Extinguishers with instructions
about how to return the Recalled Fire Extinguisher(s) to them.

Are they running on Windows 95? It's about time they were updated!

    Bye, Wilfred.

That's never been a requirement for this conference area, Wilfred. This echo has always been a place for old & young to share stories and learn, perhaps.

Oh, yes... Anything related to Windows is usually considered a bonus, and attracts maximum brownie points which may be cashed in at the door you entered by on 1st April each year.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

Darn... I forget to put a smiley after my remark... ;)

I never intended to with mine. (But that belies a minor failing in the Australian national character.) I cheated with the language, which had an underlying tone of quite 'dry' humour.

Rest assured that whenever I'm conversing with someone in Fidoland that I usually have the widest grin, as I peek & poke at the keyboard. Here's a freebie smiley (best viewed in a modern NNTP reader)... :-D

    Cheers,
    Paul.
