Yes, someone started asking me questions about a break in IM under OS2 and found out some issues with IM under it so I am trying to finally yank out the core code that is causing me the pain to move to other platforms with the original code.

When you say "Interesting..." I can only laugh and remember the guy from the show Laugh in who always had that to say about everything. Sorry, showing my age. :(

I know there are others developing new systems as well and they are quite good but I want to finish the platform out. The GUI platform is a full rewrite.

Unless you were going to put in BinkP servicexs in Intermail, OI would just consider porting Interecho over to these other platforms. Now if you were going to port it to OS/2 and could d othe same thing, I would be happy with that as well :)

but, some networks and system still use telnet over virtual modems (such as WINSnet) so some modem functionality would still be desireable.

My Hub box is running Arca OS2... FD2 with Fastecho2

I thought it was a good idea to get WINServer back up and running for
my "Main BBS". I have a Pi box that has mystic on it... to be honest I
like Mystic... I spend most of my time on the terminal side... so the
strength of WINServer has with the other spects seems somewhat moot at
    this point.

BTW, I just installed a windows 10/32 bit machine so that I can run
synchronet as a game server and run all my old DOS games.
