• [VOICENWS] SW: FtpServer version 2.5 released

    From VOICE News Service@1:3634/1000 to All on Thu Aug 18 01:42:03 2016

    ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++

    From: peterDESPAM@DESPAMpmoylan.org

    FtpServer (freeware, open source) has just been updated to version 2.5.
    You can fetch it from
    http://pmoylan.org/pages/os2/FtpServer.html
    or from
    ftp://ftp.pmoylan.org/FtpServer/ftpser_2.5.zip
    or from Hobbes incoming. Source files may, if desired, also be fetched
    from the same directory.

    The reason for this release is to correct a timeout on really long
    directory listings.

    FtpServer is an FTP daemon for OS/2 and eCS. The main difference from
    IBM's FTP server is that you can figure a different virtual file system
    for each user. It also has stronger security controls.
