Should BinkIT care about the case of alpha characters when considering FLO/CLO/HLO etc files?

I've found a copy of Joe DeRosa's 'Please' utility that creates files for Binkley, but the alpha characters are in upper case. BinkIT refuses to process them as a result. For example: if I run the command 'Please poll 1:218/880', the resulting file that is created is 00DA0370.FLO. When BINKOUT runs, it produces an error message stating:

Unexpected file path 'C:sbbs\echo\outbound\00DA0370.FLO expected C:\sbbs\outbound\00da370.FLO'

So I manually change the name to 00da370.FLO and run BINKOUT again. This time it returns an error message stating:

    Unknown flow file flavour 'C:\sbbs\echo\outbound\00da0370.FLO'

So I then change it to 00da0370.flo, run BINKOUT again and boom...a successful poll.

Should BinkIT care about case? Just curious.

    Thanks!

... I have a really good memory, except it's short.

Nevermind, decided to check the binkit.js and it's right there as a known limitation.

    Thanks anyway.

    "use the source, Luke" :-)

Still, that should be fixed. Mind creating a gitlab issue to track that?

LOL! Sure thing. As soon as I put the co-dependent bird to bed, I'll go out there and log it. :)

    Thanks!
