    The log messages *before* that one will have the important details.

    Firewalls block *inbound* connections normally. And the Synchronet qnet-ftp.js uses "passive" FTP, so the connections (to the hub, dove.synchro.net) are both *outbound* (from your system's perspective). So I don't see how your firewall played a role.
