• Issue with SCFG?

I installed synchronet no problem and went into sccfg first time no problem. Now though when I try to get into scfg I get this error:

MESA-LOADER failed to open ast: /usr/lib/dri/ast_dri.so

    Any ideas?

You can probably work around it by running scfg as 'scfg -iC' for curses mode.

Proper fix would be to get that file onto your system. The top result I'm seeing for 'ast_dri.so' suggests installing the 'xserver-xorg-video-ast' package on Ubuntu. (I have no idea if that's correct or what distro you're using.)

SCFG will run in graphics mode by default, if it can, and it's attempting to do that. SDL (the sound and graphics library we use) is trying to open that device driver or library (ast_dri).

Running "scfg -ic" or "scfg -id" will force SCFG to run in one of its supported text modes and avoid that problem, but you probably want to install the missing driver or library which is needed for your system (GPU?).

I figured was missing a driver it seems that debian bullseye don't have this driver or package for the driver. I even went to ASPEED source and seems compression is missing. I am going to try Ubuntu instead. Thanks for the help.

Funny I installed bullseye about two weeks ago with no trouble at all.
One box with 3.19 and another with 3.20 and both seem to work without
    giltch you having trouble with.

    Anyway my two cents!
