• RSS reader?

From Waethorn to All on Thu Aug 25 11:55:58 2022
Has anybody heard of any kind of possible JS/terminal-mode/command-prompt RSS reader that would work with Synchronet? Looking to get RSS feeds put into the BBS as a sort-of pre-selected News or read-only message section. I'd prefer if there was some way to just sync and download to an NNTP server that could be fe d into a news reader in a Synchro menu, but I'd settle for a live on-demand parse as an alternate because it's probably simpler to implement.

See exec/web_feed_importer.js, I think that does what you're asking.

This works perfectly for what I'm looking for. Thanks!

I like it when websites post full articles in their RSS feed so that you can get a "Reader View" in an RSS reader instead of having to use the browser method, but I really hate when they just publish headlines with page links.
