• Borland C++ For OS/2 v2.0

    From Robert Wolfe@1:116/18 to All on Sat Jul 1 20:30:00 2017
    Hi all!

    I was able to find this little gem and download it so that I can
    compile a couple of Marco Maccaferri's packages for OS/2 (LoraBBS v2
    and v3). However, when I go to tell it to install, I get a message
    saying that there was an invalid path when I know that this is not
    the case (I told the installer to create the C:\BCOS2 path and to
    install from S:\INSTALL -- which is the directory on the CD that I
    ran the installation program from).

    I was wondering if anyone else was able to get this to install on
    eComStation or ArcaOS by any chance and if so, how?

    Thanks!

    BIG drives with a lot of free space can cause this kind of errors to ancient installers...

    Is the installer dos or os/2 executable?

    It is an OS/2 PM executable.

    Yes. Just downloaded it from winworldpc.com.

    Installed fine to my test installation of ECS 2.1 running in VMWare. Installed to a 8GB HPFS drive.

    Ok, I will have to try this with a small, HPFS partition.
