Just wondering how many people out there still use OS/2 for there bbs setup.
I currently do but not sure what my issue is, if its because off ECS or dos doors, dos bbs coded bad for use under os2 etc LOL. Guess I could have
tested this all on Warp 4.5 but ECS is so much nicer & has more things then warp does.
Guess with all the Sync & Mystic etc bbs's out there most are now running
    winblowz or linux.

    I do. This box is a PS/2 model 77 (486/66) running plain vanilla OS/2 v 4.0. The BBS is Maximus/2, I use Watergate/2 as a tosser and BT/2 for the front end.

I have another box that runs v1.22 of this OLR just fine under Warp 4.52.

Both DOS and OS/2 software. No problems. ;-)

    Mine isnt that old :) k6/2 500 w/256 memory, I think 4.52 ran a little better,

but I think it had a few limits I didnt like :) HD size limit I think & didnt have
    USB support (easiest backup/xfer etc)

I think I fixed most of my door issues. Played around with config & session settings. bbs runs fine etc that im aware of anyways LOL

Guess most of my problems are config & or session settings related then.
Had PCBoard setup & os2 tweaked for it etc but it was also OS2 based.
Now im using more DOS based stuff & guessing these tweaks dont apply
seeing how most i think were for warp v3-v4. Been considering changing it
to a windows box, BUT SIO is my main reason OS2 is still running :)

Tried that one once... Real PITA to do file areas on IIRC...

I'm on a DOS BBS under eCs v1.2R.

Heres a 'tweak' that should get your ANSI screens looking better
(from the local side at least. :). Change codepage (its in Rem 4 -
Kernal Directive Statements) to the following:

    CODEPAGE=437,850

I was having a problem with fancy ANSI screens looking like funky
ASCII until a programmer I Beta Test for told me to make the change.
437 is the default US code set, and by swapping the 850 and 437 around
    it cleared up my problem.

I've made more changes than that to my set-up, so if you'd like to see
my mod list you can email me at trav_ler at ezycombbs.com and I'll
    toss you a copy.
