• HELP!

From Sean Dennis@1:18/200 to All on Wed May 11 09:37:51 2005
    Hello, All.

I'm getting at the end of my rope here.

I'm setting up ProBoard under Warp 4.52.

I cannot, for the life of me, get any file transfer protocol to work.

PB is configured for CEXYZ, but it won't work. I get "Synchronizing with remote" and the connection finally times out. It's not just with CEXYZ, DSZ/FDSZ do the same thing, as do other protocol drivers.

I have the com port that the board is on locked at 115200-should I lower that down to 38400 and try?

Any and all help is appreciated. I spent nearly three hours tinkering with this last night.

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Sean,

I had to lock it at 33,6 for my Courier to work under eCS/SIO1.60.
    I have had the worst luck with USR. :{

Heh, I locked it down to 38400 and it works like an absolute charm. <G> It works really fast over telnet, to my suprise.

Try locking it at 38400 and see how that helps maybe?

(I'm in a very happy mood-my parents just bought a new home for them [and us!] - June 9th is when they'll take possession and we'll be moving up there soon after...)

    Later,

    Sean,

For the Courier, it didn't work. When I was setting it up, 115,600 didn't work. I went back to 2400, and it worked.
I worked my way up, 33,6 was the highest. 38,4 and 56k did not work.
It might be a firmware update issue, but I'm not going to try to find it at this point.

Cool. I have been looking for a piece of property for years.
The ones with the view I want have been to much $$$, the ones with the right price did not have it.
    Some day.
