• eCS 2.1 and SIO

From Robert Wolfe@1:261/20 to All on Sat May 12 10:40:02 2012
    Hi all!

Just having a small issue with SIO 1.60D and eCS 2.1.

I was able to get it (SIO) to install. However, when the system reboots, I get
a message saying that the mouse driver must be loaded before SIO. However, when I check my CONFIG.SYS file, it IS indeed loaded before the main SIO driver.

Has anyone else been able to successfully get SIO 1.60d to install and load correctly in eCS 2.1?

I don't run eCs, but MCP2 latest and still even Warp4 on some systems. Are you
by chance using USB items in your system that might be involved here?

I had it installed with 2.0, but in the end it didn't work anyway. eCS needs SIO2K. Only problem is SIO2K can be buggy for some scenarios. In the end I ended up using Warp 4 fixpack 15 and SIO 1.160d.

Yeah, but eCS is running in a M$ VPC 2007 virtual machine though.

Yeah, I had SIO 2K running at one time, too; however, I can not get the version
I have to work as it is saying that the beta version has expired.
