• make for OS/2

From Robert Wolfe@1:116/18.901 to All on Tue Nov 11 14:51:38 2014
    Hi all!

I just downloaded and installed the latest gcc compiler for OS/2. I would like
to use cmake but it says that I need sh to at least get it configured right (in
the environment prep script). However, I cannot seem to find sh.exe for OS/2 anywhere. So, what wondering if someone would be able to point me into the right direction for ports of the "normal" *NIX shells (bash, sh, etc) for OS/2 and eCS.

    Thanks!
    Me

    Use Paul Smedley's GCC/2 environment:

    http://ports.smedley.info

Paul has ported a ton of Linux programs to OS/2 and he makes his development environment available for download.

you might have better luck posting is as an offtopic post to the apache2 or weasel lists where steve levine hangs out... i tried years ago on my warp3 system to do such but never got it all the way... i haven't messed with it since... that was back when i was doing some little stuff with EMX and even then i seem to recall having to use gmake instead but it has been waaaaaay too long...

I've heard the name but never directly talked to Steve.
