• Reply prefix not getting added?

    Hello g00r00!

I have "Add Re: Prefix" set to "Yes" in Configuration --> Message Base Settings, but have noticed that sometimes Mystic doesn't add the Re: prefix to the subject line when replying to messages -- at least for echomail messages.

Is this so also for you (or anyone else)?

I have also noticed that even when Mystic actually *does* add the Re: prefix
-- e.g. when replying to a local e-mail -- the Re: prefix does not show up in the "initial" Subject: header field nor on the Subject: line in the full
screen message editor, but it *is* added to the message during saving (when viewing the resulting message, it has Re: in the subject). So it is hard to know what the resulting subject line will actually be.

Hoping you can shed some light on what could be causing this. Many thanks in advance!

    Best regards
    Björn

The subject "Re" is added during saving because the user can change the subject in the editor. If the Re was added before the editor then the user would be able to remove it. That is the thinking around why I did it that way.

For the other stuff an early guess might be that its not adding Re if there is a space at the start of the subject line or something similar to that. If you can find a way to reproduce it let me know and I will get it fixed up...

I'll give it a shot on my own as well if I get some more free time and don't forget (I've had almost no time the past handful of weeks for BBS stuff).
