I want to edit the text on the Mystic bbs At the moment it says demo system Mystics file structure is a mystery to me I'm assuming the welcome screen is an
    ansi file?

    Regards

The file you're after is called preuser.ans and it sits in the text folder.

Have a look at mystic -cfg > theme/prompt editor > default > prompts > and
the entry for prompt 000.... see the |DF command, it's saying display file called preuser before then showing the rest of the defined prompt text.

That DF is a MCI code... info on them in mystic docs directory on or the wiki :)

You can set any file name you want to use for your login screen so long as
you point to it using the DF code in the first prompt. :)
