There are none :) Create \mystic\webroot and \mystic\webroot\www then place your files in \mystic\webroot\www (there's also a \mystic\webroot\cfg but it is

not used for anything yet). Assuming you used \mystic as your install directory

{chuckle} else replace "mystic" above with your own directory name.

I'm not aware of any user type login for the web server. When I built mine, I did as I explained to create the directories, moved the files I wanted accessible for download, then ran a few programs I wrote that create the index.html file based on existing files. I can send you those programs if you like. It's all automated with a Batch file that creates a files.bbs 1st which can be edited afterward to add detailed descriptions of each file.

Mystic does not include ANY web files, you have to set this up yourself. :)

{chuckle} Yeees, but the Mystic login could just be a telnet window generated by some fancy web/html language/code like imbedded javascript, etc.

FYI: Many sites make note of the web author/administrator at the very bottom of

the page. I would look for this, and just email him and ask him what he uses to

generate his web pages! Another way would be to email admin@<site> where <site>

There are lots of free web templates on the internet Just avoid the paid for, premium or site builders here is a link https://www.os-templates.com/free-website-templates

You can host your own web server locally using xampp. You site may run slow if you use too many graphics Namesco co uk will register a web site name an domain
for free and will direct traffic to your local site.

My own site is at retroacorn.co.uk which is very simple but works ok and includes links to bbc b emulators and web access to my bbs which has lots of door games.

Set up a blacklist to prevent hackers from attacking your servers In my country
blacklist I already have Russia, China and Ukraine and some ip,s that have tried a denial of service attack.

    Hope this helps

    Regards

    Richard
