• Mutil FileBone import question

    From Marc Carrano@3:770/3 to All on Tue Sep 19 19:49:36 2017
    Evening,

    I am trying to import file echos using the filegate.xxx from fido. it works great but do I have to set the node address manually for each file echo?

    looking at multi.ini there does not look like there is an entry and the file editor in mystic -cfg does not have a Global config? if there an external file
    area editor that can do this or do i need to bite the bullet and just get r done.

    filename of filebone.na

    filename = c:\mystic\na\filegate.zxx

    ; root directory to create file paths under. when a new filebone echo
    ; is found, mUtil will create a file using "root_dir" + areatag. So
    ; for example if root is "c:\mystic\filebase\" and the areatag is
    ; MYSTICBBS it will create "c:\mystic\filebase\MYSTICBBS". This root
    ; directory MUST exist.

    root_dir = c:\mystic\files\fido

    ; convert tags to lower case for filebase base filename/dir 1=yes

    lowercase_filename = 1

    ; Default values when creating a new file base

    dispfile =
    template = ansiflst
    acs_list =
    acs_ftp =
    acs_download =
    acs_upload =
    acs_hatch =
    acs_sysop = s255

    ; true/false type values 0=false 1=true (newscan 2=forced)

    free_files = 0
    show_uploader = 1
    new_scan = 1

    yes there is a global editor for message bases in mystic -cfg

    You header to editors > message base editor

    Then press TAB to select the bases to change

    Then press / key to bring up a menu and select Global

    Set fields you want to change to YES

    Set the correct setting for each field.

    Press CTRL-U to update and accept the pop up dialogue

    Hope that helps
