Am I the only one left who has always enjoyed his music?
Seems like when I play it on my bluetooth speaker after the
store closes while working...people don't remember him or
his music. Working with a lot of people in their 20-
30's...they have no idea of who he was.

Great talent. There is a video of him singing one of his songs
that he wrote coming out of some major life-struggle/surgery or
something. Amazing art of poetry in that one. I'll audition
my collection and report back on which one it is. It's
impressive because the studio recording is the SAME "live"
    perfect performance in the video.

    Found it:

Whatever's Written In Your Heart (Official Video)

    A tear-jerker for me.

I also note that his vocal "sound" is quite unique and
fascinating. It's like he found the magic formula for the
chord-combo for his voice and sticks to it for most of the
    tunes.

From what I remember, he struggled with alcohol and some
personal demons leading to depression. Dead at 63 - from liver
    failure and complications from that.

Which is irony, because Baker Street is about a guy trying to give up
    the booze.
