• an easter egg challenge

From August Abolins@2:221/1.58 to All on Sat Nov 14 21:03:00 2020
As a preliminary test and as a way to inaugerate the newly
revived MUSIC echo, I thought I would reprise a little contest
I created during my "stay home and stay safe.. blah blah blah"
moments back in April this year.

Follow the instructions very carefully. Incomplete or
    imprecise answers are disqualified.

The PRIZE offer mentioned on the link below has expired. But I
may make an exception depending on how much fun this can stir
    up.

    Hello!

I posted the following to some of my peers in Fidonet, but I
thought that some folks here might like to join in on the fun.

    An Easter Egg Challenge.
    =======================

5 eggs have been hidden in 4 locations somewhere in the world and one egg on a planet.

    Locate all 5 eggs.

Submit your answers via NETMAIL to the address of this message.

    Egg [2]: in artist's name.

Egg [3]: artist's country of origin.

Egg [4]: in title of this song.

yes, I remember playing this. It was a fun little contest. Since I already
know (well, submitted answers way back when ) I'll not compete again.

    You did well.

BTW.. I'd still be happy to send you a free audio book of your
choice if you want, 'cuz you were such a good sport.

I wish I could send you a music product the same way, but all
    I've got are the books.

I appreciate the offer but I'm not really an audiobook person. I donate it to your next winner. :)
