• Top 10 Desert Island Dis

From James Bradley@1:342/77 to Nick Andre on Wed May 5 23:07:10 2010
On or about 03-06-08 05:10, Steve Kemp allegedly uttered "Top 10 Desert Island Disk" to Nick Andre:

Here's my CURRENT Top Ten Desert Island Disks:

    Anything by Frank Zappa!

    ****YES****

Say, has anyone else seen the PBS show, about a music teacher that *only* teaches Zap covers? IIR, it was more of an outreach situation than a formal curriculum, but MAN did he foster some talent. The climax of the program was an open-air concert, with some of Franks alumni invited in to the mix.

I never was much of a Zappa fan, past watching him and The Mothers of Invention on an episode of SNL. Imagine a snot nosed pubescent drummer watching VC, and wondering if there was any need to continue on with my practice.

... Well, to be frank, I'd have to change my name.

    WOW!

    That's good!

I pulled something from way a-back on another echo recently.
It's nice to see that I'm not too tweaky.

I only teach Zappa covers means it's a hard class. ;)

I never was much of a Zappa fan,

    I always was.

Not that I'm not disappointed by the after-Death offerings.
