So, anyone here into Arcade Fire?

I only recently discovered them while listing to the "Indy Pop" stream on somafm.com. Their song "Neighborhood #3" really got my attention. The
whole album ("Funeral") is incredibly good.

I'm putting them high on my list of "Must see live" bands...a good enough reason for me to go to Montreal one of these days!

Where are they from? Sounds interesting. I've always loved indie stuff.

They're from Montreal. Supposedly their indy CD managed to go gold without
any promotion or videos or anything...just word of mouth. They've got two
CDs out, an EP that was just re-issued and "Funeral." Funeral is really excellent. Supposedly the live shows are something to see as well.

Looks like they've been making lots of news all over north america and
europe, but I somehow missed it. :)

    They've got a web site at: http://www.arcadefire.com/
