There was an evil, pissed Klingon looking at me and he was not in the joking mood.

    Hello Ward!

    Please disregard.

You didn't find an echo being of more interest for tests (i.e. something for dbridge)?

The real reason was that I had a problem with the message-base for this conference and I needed to write, as well as export, a message to investigate what was happening.

Thank you for being patient ... and the sense of humour ... ;-)

The Evil Klingon has just revealed himself ... ;-)

The Problem I am facing, real or imagenary, is that in my messagbase for this conference suddenly there was a 0.MSG-file which shouldn't be there.

So I was attempting to replicate that. In order to achieve it I had to run through the while cycle and see the end-result.

    Err, did it work?

Nope. So one element from a number of possible causes of a problem was eliminated. In that sense it was a successful test.
