• Updates to sources in SVN code base

From Vince Coen@2:250/1 to All on Sun Nov 1 13:34:58 2015
    Hello All!

I have some changes and additions to make in the code base but just cannot work
out how to do upload them.

I did clone the system and insert my code changes along with a new directory doc and a manual but when I tried a diff and commit not a lot happened.

I am guessing that using clone was wrong but do not what is correct.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Vince!

Did you mean Hg (mercurial) rather than SVN, there in the subject line?

I have some changes and additions to make in the code base but just cannot work out how to do upload them.

I've been interested to see what the work that you've done...

but when I tried a diff and commit not a lot happened.

How did you try to do that? And did you do it on it's own branch?

With Hg or Git, starting with a clone of the existing code repository is normal...

Under code -> master using the "git clone ssh://vcoen@git.code.sf.net/p/mbsebbs/code mbsebbs-code " as highlited but looking just now I see it has my doc entry and a updated Changelog which needs an update but nothing else so look like I broke it some how.

Will try and reload it with all of the changes.

Nope my master is now empty so getting the prior commit and hopefully can reload it all ..

That's the Git respository. (which I also normally mirror to GitHub...)
