    Hello All!

Anyone using this combo and if so with what distro?

What hard drive are you using with that hardware to talk to it?

I'm working on compiling MBSE on a RPi B. Will be getting a 2 as soon as finances allow.

What do you mean "hard drive"? You use a micro SD card for the OS itself...

Some use a hard drive using a Sata interface.

To boot off of a Raspberry Pi, you need to use a SD or microSD card (depending on model), unless they've hacked the CPU to boot off of a drive connected to the GPIO, as far as I know. I've never heard of anyone doing that myself.

Sadly, since there's no good DOS emulator for the RPi, I won't be using one for the BBS. My users love their DOS doorgames. :)

Went to Maplins today and thay do not know of any hardware addon that supports a Sata drive (even just for data, e.g., /home)

So I will pass on it as well.

I am still wanting to get a RPi 2 for my amateur radio use though even if I can't use it for the BBS.
