• MBSE 1.0.4 Release

From Andrew Leary@1:320/219 to All on Sun Sep 7 05:13:45 2014
    Hello everybody!

MBSE v1.0.4 has been released and can be downloaded from the project page at:

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/mbsebbs

The following are the changes for this release:

    1. Binkp CRC support has been added to mbcico.
    2. The No Binkp/1.1 setting for nodes has been changed to be effective on outgoing calls only. It was causing problems for other mailers (including BinkD) on incoming calls, because mbcico was reporting binkp/1.1 in the VER string, and then falling back to binkp/1.0.
    3. The Internet Rex binkp/1.1 bug workaround was changed to reflect that versions 2.31 and 2.67 are also affected by the bug.

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hi All!

MBSE v1.0.4 has been released and can be downloaded from the project page at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mbsebbs

I plan to import those changes to the Git repository at the SF project (as push that to the mirror at https://github.com/ftnapps/mbsebbs), so that I can continue working on the Debian packaging with the new version...

This release has been rolled back to 1.0.2 without my changes both for replacing the install point from /opt to /home and for various changes to the html help that I noticed differences to actual code or other bugs and no I do not remember the specifics :)

    Sorry.

If needed I can send you my codebase so you can run compares etc.

Mine works BUT I have not been able to create scripts that update a sysop running from /opt to /home as the file and echo paths have to be modified as well. Other than that it seems to be working well :(

There is still a little misc for the script file in /scripts/ directory where the scripts init.gentoo could need the update of addin after the = to have {PATH}: so mbsebbs will run after reboot, else will there comes sock error and error for start and stop of mbse by ebeging and estop command.

The have I got a little error on my main systems point system mbse there getting tty_read : error flag by connect my main system on same pc where mbse not really like to ending the connection after recievng files and mail + go over to import the mail in the inbound directory and just have it /2:230.150.0 and /tmp where all incoming is been keept in /2.230.150.0 and is moved to /inbound and processed.

    Take care,
    Gert
