    Ok, so grabbed the latest Mercurial release of MBSE (from the Mercurial server)
    and built it against the latest GCC update for "Wheezy". Looks like the resulting binaries are a little snappier than before with the previous GCC version/package release. So, I've deciced that with each new update to the GCC
    packages in Wheezy, I am going to rebuild the binaries (after making a backup of the working system) and see if there are any further improvements.

    Sounds like your upgrade of gcc and libs has resulted in a large version change.
    Waste of time for me running Mandriva 2011.0 as updates are thin on the ground.

    Must made a desision on moving to the spin of version Magelia (or similar) but its just a pain of having to
    reinstall all of the various bit and pieces I have got running but I guess I will have to bit the bullet
    sooner than later !!.
