Anyone using NPCLord? It's been so darn long since I used it. I was a beta tester and can't remember half the stuff.

Anyway, I am pretty sure I have everything set up properly but when I run npcmaint I am getting an error.

    Runtime error 003 at 0000:E90C

If I recall, error 003 is a path/file error. I am running it from the
directory it and all the files are in. I currently have all the npclord stuff in a subdirectory off of the LORD dir. C:\Mystic\doors\lord\npclord\

Sorry I don't know what the problem could be.

But I remember running npclord before and it was cool as all get out. Do you happen to have the zip available there?

Yes I do. It's in the Lord file base along with the BBS Doors file base. I really need to clean them up. A lot of dupes, particularly with the Lord IGMs

That could very well be it. Running 4.07. I may set up an older version of
LoRD to test with and see if it works with that.Probably won't be able to
take a look until Monday, weekends are pretty full at work.

Going back to 3.26a did not fix it BUT going back to a slightly older version of NPClord did. There was an update to version 2.8 that states it stopped lockups. I went back to the 2.8 version and it works. Still can't get NPCbull to work but I'm getting there. Now I need to decide which LORD version I'm going to stick with.

I'll probably stick with the older LoRD version. Already using BBSLink and Doorparty. If someone REALLY cares enough to play a newer version they can
log in there. Two of them here would just be confusing.

I THINK I am running the latest version of NPCLord (or was until I downgraded)

I download version NPCLOR26.zip and I got the same error message. It sounds like you will need to use patch that should fix the error. A copy of the
patch is available on my bbs by telneting to mysticbbs.dynu.com 2310.
