  • LORDANSI.DAT file vanished

    I was in L.O.R.D. 4.07 today, and I saw an error with one of the screens, and I got thrown out of the door. When I went back in, I kept getting the message LORDANSI.DAT not found...inform the sysop!

    Any idea what's going on?

    That shouldn't have happened as there is no such file in the lord407
    archive. The file that has all the ansi's in them is named lordtxt.dat. Did this happen in a recent beta version of 4.07 or was it in the public release?

    ... I became a power user, I bought 30 unformatted floppies.

    I had something simliar happen in mine .... somehow it couldn't find LORDANSI.DAT and aborted, but before it did, it took my trace log from NetSerial and posted it to the screen (remotely) .... VERY ODD ... I wasn't home to see it happen, but the user posted them their whole scroll back log with it in. ;) :(

    just copy lordtxt.dat over to that lordansi.dat file and you should be okay.
