Hi everyone Im having a problem dont know if its Irex or the computer
but the error is in Irex so Im assuming. Im running Irex 2.29 and Im
    getting this Problem.
BinkP daemon:not running - couldnt bind to listen socket. I'm running
windows server 2003 standard and it was working okay til I let windows
do a update. It add security files and netframe files andd now Im
getting this error. Dont seem to be getting echo's now either hopefully
this will even get out. Any help would be apreciated!
    Thanks Sam

Did something else grab that socket before IRex could?

Hi Bill thanks for the reply, Had another sysop look at my system he did
find the problem seams that a ip address changed on the system and the
new address didnt get entered in the host address section and it was
trying to connect to a ip that was notthere and not ported problem
solved. Something that I just overlooked, I guess when you have problems
need to check everything again then take a break and check again.
    Thxs Sam

If you are talking about the IP to bind the binkd server to, enter 0.0.0.0
as the address and you shouldn't have to worry about that if your system's
    IP changes or not.

Agree with this, did some work helping a sysop a few days ago and this solved
    a lot of problems.
