Hi all! When trying to download files in a binkp session, I often get
the "...before last one finished" type message during a binkp session.
Has anyone else ever gotten this error before and if so, how?
have you gone about fixing it?

Robert, I don't think it is an error. Are you polling a few nodes during the same event? I'm sure only one connection/transfer can be made at a time.

More then one connectin can be made. The error occurs, IIRC, when you are downloading a packet, and your system wants to toss it while it is downloading. That seems to stick in my mind. I changed the way things get tossed. I could not think of a way to make it wait until the download wqs actually finished, so I had an event do the tossing
That makes sense. I've never had that issue with sbbs as IRex won't pass the semaphore till after the session has ended. Then it can go about it's business.
I don't have any downlinks so multiple tossing/packing will never take place. Something I should remember if I get a downlink.

As you may have noticed, I too use SBBS <G>

That I did... :)

I had an event do the tossing
This is what I was doing, too. But, switched to having BBBS transfer the packets itself. Much better and for some reason, faster.
