    through to get their mail?

Yes, if your mailtosser puts their mail in a directory for them to pickup.
You must also config Irex so that the downlink has a directory for mail to pickup and not use a Binkp config.

You have a ingoing and outgoing binkp setting, so you can by the
outgoing binkp menu disable polls to the nodes but have the ingoing
binkp setting to active but not crash mail.

You should config this downlink as 'Toss to a directory' and give it a directory under IREX that your mailtosser can toss and HOLD mail to.

If you have a node set as inactive will the nodes not get any mail
    from you.

    They will not.

Can you turn off the Crash or Direct flags for those nodes,
and have their mail set to HOLD as it is archived?

I've now got their mail set to hold/direct seems to be working well now. :)

Nope, running Irex for windows and I see no opion there in the setup menu for
this node. :( I have , however, set their mail to hold/direct and that seems to be working. :)

OK, that's kind of what I thought. Thanks Gert

If you set thier nodes to inactive and they poll, they'll still pick up thier packets Gaylen, I have a system in Europe that recieves one Fido file base from me, for some reason I can't poll his system, I set his to inactive and he polls me once a day to recieve his packets, it works very well.

    Hello Timothy.

While chewing on a twig, you spoke thus to me:

Ok, cool... that's what I've done and we shall see what happens.
    Thanks!
