Title: Copycat Wendy's Chilli

Yield: 10 servings
2 lb Fresh ground beef
1 qt Tomato juice
29 oz Can tomato puree
15 oz Can red kidney beans;
- drained
15 oz Can pinto beans; drained
1 lg Onion chopped
1/2 c Diced celery
1/4 c Diced bell pepper
1/4 c Chilli spice mix; to taste
1 ts Cumin
1 1/2 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground black pepper
1/2 ts Oregano
1/2 ts Sugar
1/8 ts Cayenne pepper
Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain the grease.
Put the drained beef and the remaining ingredients in a
6-quart pot or slow cooker and stir to combine.
If using a pot, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours,
stirring every 15 minutes.
If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 4 hours.
