Title: Sharecropper's Collard Soup

Yield: 4 Servings
1 bn Collard greens; stems
- removed, chopped
5 lg Potatoes; peeled, cut up
14 oz Chicken broth
2 lg Onions; chopped
Salt & pepper
Precooked pieces of ham or
- sausage, as desired
Put enough water in a large pot to boil all ingredients.
Add and cook greens, potatoes, broth, salt & pepper for
simmer for about 40 minutes, or until potatoes are soft.
Then add some ham or sausage pieces and boil for 5 more
minutes.
Serve with cornbread
