    Mine too. I had this echo on Fidonet a little over a year ago and it was really active. Sad to see it go down in usage

    So do I! Are you building anything at the moment?

    Well, I was thinking about building one of those altoid tin QRP CW rigs. I also was thinking about getting a project box and taking an old base VHF/UHF scanner and putting the guts in there. For portability and ease of use during emergencies.

    I'm a lapsed member of the G-QRP club and I've seen some pictures in their newsletter and on the Web. I'm on the look
    -out for a simple CW or SSB RX kit just to get started.
